There are five beautiful reservoirs here in Zillertal, and our Breierhof lies right in the middle of them: Schlegeisstausee, Zillergründl, Stillupspeicher, Speicher Durlaßboden and Speicher Gmünd.
The Schlegeis Alpine Road is also especially worth a visit, starting at 1,000 metres above sea level.
From there, 13.3 km of road winds around eight hairpin bends and four natural rock tunnels to the car park at the Schlegeis reservoir, approximately 1,800 m above sea level. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities here, such as marked points of interest at the Schlegeis dam or at the foot of the Schlegeis dam wall.
