Such a thing only exists here in Zillertal... How is Zillertal “Graukäse” (Tyrolean grey cheese) made, how is butter packed in the paper and how does milk get into the carton? You can find all this out and more at the working dairy in Zillertal. Just 15 minutes by car from our farm, you can watch experts at work through glass facades and find out how the Zillertal specialities are made. Our cows on the Breierhof farm also supply the purest hay milk to the dairy fresh each day.
You might be wondering why our milk is called hay milk? It is because our cows feed exclusively on hay, lush grass and fresh mountain herbs – depending on the season. In summer, our hay milk cows graze at more than 1000 metres above sea level. This is nature at its purest!
Of course, you can enjoy Zillertal hay milk, butter and homemade yoghurt fresh every day on our farm.
